A new era in skin lifting
Demand for non-surgical skin lifting has surged as more people look for natural, subtle ways to maintain a youthful appearance without going under the knife. From radiofrequency to HIFU, a wide range of technologies promise firmer, tighter skin — but not all skin tightening treatments are created equal.
Ultratherma represents a new generation of medically regulated, non-invasive skin lifting. Using clinically refined ultrasound technology, it offers visible results without downtime, surgery or surface damage.
Ultratherma is developed by Elsa Medical, a maker of non-surgical aesthetic platforms.
What is Ultratherma?
Ultratherma is a medical-grade, non-surgical skin lifting treatment that uses a precise form of energy known as Micro-Focused Ultrasound (MFU). It delivers focused ultrasound energy deep beneath the surface of the skin, where it stimulates the body's natural collagen production. The result is progressive skin tightening and lifting over the following weeks.
Unlike beauty-grade HIFU devices found in salons or cosmetic chains, Ultratherma is available only in licensed medical clinics, with built-in safety mechanisms and defined treatment protocols.
How does it work?
Ultratherma uses Micro-Focused Ultrasound to generate thermal coagulation zones (TCZs) — tiny, precisely placed points of heat created below the skin's surface, at targeted depths:
- 1.5mm — upper dermis
- 3.0mm — deep dermis
- 4.5mm — the SMAS layer, the same layer targeted in surgical facelifts
Each focused pulse heats the tissue to around 60–70°C, triggering a controlled wound-healing response. The skin responds by producing new collagen and elastin over time. Importantly, the surface stays untouched — making the treatment non-invasive, with no downtime.
Treatment areas
Ultratherma can treat a range of areas affected by age-related collagen loss and skin laxity:
- Lower face (jowls, cheeks)
- Jawline (definition, reduced sagging)
- Neck, including the submental area
- Brow (subtle lifting and eyelid openness)
- Under-eye — a delicate area often unsuitable for more aggressive devices
What makes Ultratherma different?
Medical-only access
Ultratherma is not available in beauty salons or cosmetic chains. It is distributed exclusively to licensed medical clinics that meet clinical safety standards — ensuring consistency and practitioner accountability.
Regulated clinical protocols
Every treatment follows specific protocols for energy levels, depth and patient suitability, designed for safe, repeatable, reliable outcomes.
Built-in safety features
Unlike generic HIFU systems, Ultratherma uses fixed-depth cartridges and consistent thermal output to reduce the risk of overtreatment or burns.
Safe for delicate zones
Its precision targeting makes it suitable for high-risk areas like the under-eye and jawline, where other technologies may be too aggressive.
Who is it for?
Ultratherma suits adults showing mild to moderate signs of skin laxity, typically from their 30s or 40s — especially those who want a noticeable lift without surgery, prefer a natural, gradual improvement, or want to delay the need for a surgical facelift. It can also be used preventatively to maintain youthful collagen levels.
What results can I expect?
Rather than masking laxity, Ultratherma works at the source — stimulating deep collagen renewal. Visible transformation unfolds steadily over 8–12 weeks: smoother, tighter skin, a more defined jawline, lifted cheeks and firming around the neck and under-eye. For many, a single session produces results that hold for 12 months or longer, with the option to repeat based on personalised clinical advice.
Is there any downtime?
One of Ultratherma's biggest benefits is its lack of downtime. The skin surface stays intact and most people return to daily activities immediately. Mild redness or tenderness may occur for a few hours but typically resolves quickly.
Why choose Ultratherma?
Ultratherma is a clinically regulated, non-surgical skin lifting treatment that combines precision, safety and progressive results — therapeutic effects at the right depth, without needles, downtime or surface disruption. Available exclusively in licensed medical clinics.
